What Grade 12 IB Math Covers

Descriptive Statistics

Limits and Continuity

Derivatives

Application of Derivatives
Intervals of increase and decrease, maximum and minimum points, concavity and points of inflection, curve sketching, optimization, and related rates.
Derivatives of Exp, Log, and Periodic Functions
Differentiating exponential and logarithmic functions and sine, cosine, and tangent, then combining them with the product, quotient, and chain rules.
Integration
Antiderivatives, indefinite and definite integrals, integration by substitution, and area under a curve and between curves.
Probability
Sample spaces, conditional probability and independence, Venn and tree diagrams, and discrete random variables including the binomial and normal distributions.
